Biography:
In
the beginning of the show, Zane and Rikki
could not stand eachother. Rikki looked at
Zane as a spoiled pig, and Zane looked at
Rikki as as weirdo. But when they encounter
one another at a business seminar and get
trapped on a balcony, they star bonding. The
time alone together allows them to get to
know one another better. After
that Rikki and Zane got closer and closer,
but Rikki pretendet that she still hated him.
Eventully they got togheter. They went
through a lot: first Emma became scared that
Zane would find out the secret so she gave
Rikki an ultimatium: Either zane or her and
Cleo. Then latet Zane's father started
making trouble. But Rikki and Zane love got
throguh it. But then Zane found out about
Rikki's mermaid secrect. Zane was not the
only one who found out about the three
girl's secret, his father and a marine
biologist Dr denam does it too. A lunar
eclipse gives the girls an opportunity to
free themselves from further pursuit by
sacrificing their powers. Since they where
so scared that the marine biologist would
tell the whole world their secret, they take
the opportunity and they trick Dr denman and
Zane's father. But they got tricked
themselves to, because while they thought
their power would be gone forever, they
where only gone for a day. But now they did
not have Dr denman on their neck, since no
one besides themselves new this. But Rikki
and Zane broke up, and Zane's father sent
him to the town for a while.
Later, Zane comes back and still thinks that Rikki's powers where gone. They started flirting a little bit, and it is clearly that they both has got feeling for eachother. Zane tell's Rikki he still likes her, but she is scared of how he will react if he finds out about her still beeing a mermaid.
One day, Rikki goes down to the ocean and meats Zane and a friend of him. Zane and Rikki start talking, and suddenly Zane's friend starts his waterbike and splashes Zane and Rikki down with wather. Rikki looks at Zane scared and says: help me. At that second Zane understands that Rikki is still a mermaid and screams that she should run away so that his friend wouldn't she her when she transformers to a mermaid. But this did not change Zane's feeling, and he told Rikki that. So Rikki said that they could get back togheter if he promised that they would keep it a secret.
But Rikki still has problems trusting Zane when it comes to her true life. She lies to him about where she lives, but he quickly finds it out. After talking to Emma and Cleo, Rikki decides to tell Zane the truth. At that point he had already met Rikki's father without knowing who the other person was, and they did not like eachother. But Zane works hard to make up with Rikki's father after finding out who he was, and then finally Zane and Rikki could be togheter without needing to hide for anyone.
